Every supplement is scored using a multi-factor algorithm that mirrors the organ severity weighting:

Over 15 supplement-specific safety rules ensure no harmful recommendations:

  • Iron - only recommended when ferritin is depleted; pre-menopausal women get special consideration
  • Niacin / Red yeast rice - checked against liver enzymes; elderly caution applied
  • Potassium citrate - cross-referenced against eGFR and serum K+ levels
  • Iodine - contraindicated in hyperthyroidism (TSH < 0.1)
  • Vitamin D3 - age-adjusted upper threshold (100 ng/mL for age ≥65)
